Design in Campus Landscape centres around two levels of speculation. i) The problem of structure to the overall campus design. ii) The problem of content and details of the above. Structure can be define as the framework of the various elements of a campus. It is important in long-range planning while assimilating design consistency and growth. Content here is meant for the induvidual expressed elements which when assembled together give form and flesh to the structure. It comprises of detail studies, the design of which must combine both utilitarian and amenity needs. This report is intended to deal solely on the former. Content and details which include the individual design of the various spaces have been purposely ommitted. We have however include in this study some impression sketches of the various landscape features proposed in the masterplan. They are to provide only general ideas for the content of each landscape features proposed in the masterplan. They are to provide only general studies will be made through the design and implementation stages of the work which will be dealt with under a separate cover. Complete layout accuracy has not been possible in all areas, and adjustments will be necessary where site conditions dictate. In some sections generalisations have to be made a certain amount of flexibility given due to the unavailability of detail building layouts at the time when this report is prepared. However, efforts have been made to cope with the latest development of the campus building design and construction, although time has beeen the main limiting factor in this landscape study and in the preparation of the Master Plan.
