The topic is current, but a database devoted to environmental issues will permit users to combine descriptors to retrieve the most relevant information. Although the entries in this book may be important or valid, its cost is very high. It is international in coverage, and information comes from numerous sources, including government agencies. Most of the information is likely to be available in other sources, including commercial, academic, environmental, and governmental databases.
