This proejct has been carried out to inteoduce the advance planning system and data management technique to a local indsutry. A cassette manufacturing firm has been studied and the existing practice and problems have been identified and analyzed. An alternative for improvement the existing system is proposed to the management level as a gudie line for implementation. In addition, standard documents such as Bill of Material, Routing Sheet, part List etc. have been developed and proposed to the management level for accurate and systematic information management of the company. However, the documentation techniqie and format is only for the suggested proposals rather than implmentation. Final decision is still rely on the management level.
