Library Journal Review
Pfaffenberger offers an excellent introduction to the World Wide Web and its interface Mosaic for Macintosh, Microsoft Windows, and X Windows/Motif computers. Fourteen chapters describe Mosaic and the Web, how to load and set Mosaic, accessing information, modifying Mosaic for your personal needs, and creating your own home page. In fact, the excellent description of the HyperText Markup Language (HTML) and how to design a home page may lead to a rash of new pages in WebSpace! Five appendixes treats SLIP and PPP connections, Internet providers, HTML commands, and other topics. This is a great description of Mosaic and the Web for all sorts of computer and Internet users, so get a copy of this book. (c) Copyright 2010.
