Nemerow provides the latest information regarding the various approaches to eliminating (or reducing) industrial waste streams. His book is divided into five major chapters covering topics such as economics of zero pollution, waste minimization by reuse and recovery, solutions to attain zero pollution, solid waste recycling, and many other related topics. There are many useful and practical tables and figures, an excellent source of information for many practicing engineers, managers, policy makers, and environmental scientists. The book is very easy to read and follow, and could serve as a resource for workers involved in environmental engineering, for managers of industrial facilities, and engineers responsible for design of these facilities.
