Mohammad A. Malek, Ph.D., P.E. is an internationally recognized expert in boiler and pressure vessel technology. He is a professional engineer registered both in the United States and Canada with more than 30 years experience in design, construction, installation, operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of boilers and pressure vessels. Dr. Malek has published numerous technical articles and authored chapters in books; is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Safety Engineers, Association of Energy Engineers, Association for Facilities Engineers, International Facility Management Association, National Association of Power Engineers, and Society of Operations Engineers, UK; and is a speaker for ASME Code Section I - Power Boilers. Currently he is Chief Boiler Inspector for the State of Florida.
