Summary
The potential of environmental resources as tourist resources and the impact of tourism on these resources are an open research area and, because of its social and economic impact, arouse great interest among the social stakeholders. It is necessary to understand and measure their mutual influence in order to achieve positive mutual links between tourism and the environment. This book addresses the interaction between tourism and the environment through several disciplines, a multidisciplinary perspective, and different theoretical and methodological approaches. In addition, this book presents a wide range of current research and promotes debate and analysis on this research.
