Dr. Barh is a MSc (Applied Genetics), MTech & MPhil-(Biotechnology), PhD (Genomics), PhD (Biotechnology) and Post Graduate in Management. He has over 15 years leading healthcare, molecular diagnostic, bioinformatics industry and academic research experience in the field of integrative omics-based biomarkers, targets, targeted drugs, precision diagnosis, and personalized and predictive medicine in cancers and various complex diseases. Dr. Barh has edited 15+ cutting-edge research reference books in the field of omics and is a regular reviewer of various leading journals published by Nature publications, Biomed Central (BMC), PLOS etc. Due to his significant contribution in the field, he has been recognized by Who's Who in the World and Limca Book of Records. He is also the editor of the forthcoming Elsevier title Omics Technologies and Bio-Engineering (Jan 2017).
Dr Azevedo is member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Full Professor, and Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Bioinformatics at UFMG since 2011. He holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Veterinary Medicine School of the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), PhD in Genetics of Microorganisms by L'Institut National Agronomique Paris Grignon, and Postdoctoral degree by the Department of Microbiology, School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. He was Professor at the Biomedical Sciences Institute of the University of S#65533;o Paulo (2004). Dr Azevedo has experience in the field of Genetics, with emphasis on Molecular Genetics and Microorganisms, working mainly on the following topics: Genomics; Transcriptomic; Proteomics; Functional Analysis of Genes; Virulence and Pathogenicity Study, Molecular Biotechnology and Biosafety
