Maggi Savin-Baden is Professor of Higher Education Research and Director of the Learning Innovation Research Group at Coventry University, UK. Maggi has experience as both a teacher and a student in Second Life and has secured a number of research grants exploring the use of Second Life in higher education. She is an experienced writer and has published many books on teaching and learning with Open University Press.
