This software (10 5 1/4 " disks in IBM compatible DOS format) is based on the Radar evaluation handbook (Artech House, 1991), which was intended for use by nonspecialist engineers and technical personnel who are responsible for evaluating radar systems. The approach to this software is to simplify the Modern radar system analysis software (Artech House, 1990), concentrating on evaluation of existing radar systems or equipment design, and to provide evaluation tools. The evaluator can use this software to predict the detection and tracking performance of a proposed or actual radar, to identify the areas in which the performance changes rapidly as a function of radar or environmental parameters, and to plan detailed simulations and tests to validate performance in these areas.
