Booklist Review

Attempting to provide an antidote to the stultifying corporate bureaucracy that plagues many U.S. companies, Block endorses the current idea of ``entrepreneurialism'' but with a difference. Hence, his book shifts from fairly traditional suggestions for overcoming bureaucracy to descriptions of how one can create an organization that expresses the individual's ``deepest values about work, achievement, contribution, and the spiritual dimensions of life.'' Block's solid analysis of thought-provoking business topics will be welcome in large collections. Bibliography; to be indexed.
