Tamio Shimizu earned his Ph.D. in Production Engineering from Polytechnic School of University of Sao Paulo. Currently, he is a full professor of the Department of Production Engineering, Polytechnic School - University of Sao Paulo. Marly Monteiro de Carvalho is a professor at the Polytechnic School, University of Sao Paulo. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Santa Catarina, and is the research coordinator of QEP Quality and Product Engineering Group of CNPq (a Federal Research Agency). Fernando Jose Barbin Laurindo is professor at Polytechnic School, University of Sao Paulo
