Author Notes

Paul Leo has worked in finance for 15 years. He began his career as a foreign exchange dealer at a major global bank before moving on to manage the treasury department at a multi-national corporation. He spent times as a financial correspondent at The Business Times , a leading financial newspaper in Singapore, subsequently returning to the banking industry as a financial product developer at a major Australian Bank and rising to become its Deputy Head, Private Banking.

Paul is currently the managing editor of Chartpoint - Asia's first technical analysis magazine - published by Mediaedge Publishing Pte Ltd, a company which he co-founded.

Paul is a trained engineer and has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from the National University of Singapore and an MBA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, U.S.A.

Peter Temple had an 18-year career in fund management and investment analysis in London before turning to writing full time in 1988. He is the author of several books about investing, including the best-selling Magic Numbers - The 33 Key Ratios That Every Investor Should Know , a guide to calculating key financial ratios, and Hedge Funds - The Courtesans of Capitalism , both published by John Wiley & Sons.

His articles appear in a wide range of publications, including London's Financial Times and Investors Chronicle , to which he has contributed a number of articles about investment software. He also edits the Zurich Club Communique , and investment newsletter.
