Abstract:
The integration of language leraning and content learning is increasingly favourable because students could be equiped with skills relavant to theiracademic needs. However, lack of experience and exposure to the content hashindered the language teachers to optimumly utilized the texts.This study which used the think aloud technique investigated the comprehension strategies used by specialists of two different fields i.e. the facultiesof Mechanical Engineering and Management so that the findings could be usedin the language class to assist students of appropriate fields acquire the relevant reading skills needed.The findings indiated that there was no significant pattern of strategiew use between/among lecturers of teh same faculty, and similarly there was nosignificant difference in strategies use between lecturers of the two fields
