Suitable for an electrical engineering technology program in a community college, this book includes practical information on the Motorola 68000 microcomputer architecture and assembly language programming. The first part covers the internal architecture and instruction execution with chapters on the addressing modes, the instruction sets, and assembly language programs. Later chapters are concerned with architectural features and circuit design techniques for the memory, input/output, and interrupt interfaces. There is also a section on the Motorola educational microcomputer development system. There are numerous examples and problems for each chapter with selected answers.-G.W. Zobrist, University of Missouri-Rolla
