Summary

Summary

This collection of contributions by database researchers and developers bring together in a single volume the technical concepts and principles involved in moving from present database systems. The book also shows how installed database systems and file systems may become interoperable by means of multidatabase systems that allow users to access various databases and files in a single, uniform database language.
