The main objective of this project is to improve the design of otter boardso as to increse its performance. For the beginning, literature study onotter board was carried.The analysis of forces acting on the otter boards while operating is important for designing of new boards, especially to design hydrodynamical efficiency otter boards.Design, construction and performance of conventional rectangular flat otterboard is a base knowledge for design other shape of boards. Size and weightof otter boards have to be chosen properly because only the suitable sizeor weigh board will achieve high efficiency in operation.
