Quality is the basic customer decision factor for an explosively growing number of products and service today. It has become the single most important force leading to organizational success and company growth at national and international markets. Quality Management is the system of establishing defect prevention actions and attitudes within a company or organization on a permanent basis for the purpose of assuring conforming products or services. (LOREN WALSH, 1986). The objective of this thesis is to study the existing quality management system at Thomas Ausio Kota Tinggi Sdn. Bhd. against with ISO 9000. This thesis gives an account of the literature survey and study of how to meet the assessment requirements of ISO 9000. Finally, proposal Quality Manual, Standard Operation Procedure and Work Instruction were made for improvements to the quality management system.
