The objective of this thesis is to study a case of structural analysis on a sandwich panel configuration of a planning craft under the design loads.(statement : the hydrodynamic load is not the only item to be study in thisthesis but the sequences of the design process, type of acting loads and acase study, particularly.) The thesis will focus on types of probable loads acting on planning carafft and selecting a suitable loads (with greatest magnitude of load force) as the design load for a particular exixting design. The analysis of the probable configuration of sandwich panel which willl withstand the loading will be carried out by using COSMOS. A final design of sandwich panel configuration for the planing craft that can fulfil the requiredacting load is expected.
