You aren't going to create an intranet in a day with this book, but if you need to develop and maintain an intranet in a Windows 95/NT environment this is an excellent starting point. After covering all the basics it quickly gets into meaty discussion of back-end services, platform technologies, security, search engines, and local area network (LAN) integration.
