Abstract:
Nowadays microprocessor is common due to usage in instruments and appliancesin our everday life. It can be found anywhere in our home, vehicles and mostcertainly in our working place. This project is mainly trying to develop a simulation of the microprocessor as learning software for students in University Technology of Malaysia. Initially the simulation is base on the B-bit microprocessor where there are several of them which the popular one's are the Motorola 6800 and Intel 8080. In order to realize this simulation, development is done on a Macintosh PC with a simulation program called Extend. In extend, the project student is trying to simulate all the working operation of the 8-bit microprocessor and also the supporting devices that are involve. This report paper mainly contains the work done by the project student and also some explanation in the process of developing the simulation programs of the project.
