Summary
Summary
During the last few decades, there have been important developments in the application of Eulerian codes for the numerical solution of the kinetic equations of plasmas. Of special interest are the Eulerian codes based on the method of characteristics, because they have a low noise level and because they allow an accurate study of the phase-space dynamics, especially in the low density region of the phase-space. This book reviews recent developments of the application of Eulerian codes to the kinetic equations of plasmas.
