Through directorships and his company - Karlöf Consulting - he has been active in many small and medium-sized companies. Prior to running his own consulting businesses, Bengt Karlöf was a consultant with Indevo from 1980 until 1989. He has always approached the subject of strategy with the experience and viewpoint of the practitioner rather than taking the traditional academic approach.
