Summary

The papers of this seventh international conference examine the current experience and future trends in all aspects of motor vehicle technology and operation in which electronics may have a role. Particular subjects covered include power train controls, driver information systems, serial communications, connection systems, quality and reliability of components and systems, suspension, steering and braking systems, sensors, actuators and components, vehicle navigation and traffic management, and vehicle system integration. Applications of electronics within motor vehicles include such items as integrated drivelines, vehicle tracking, transmission controls, diagnostic systems, vehicle security and vehicle guidance systems.
