Phillip T. Rawles is an associate professor of ComputerInformation Systems and Technology for Telecommunications andNetworking in the Nationally prominent Department of computertechnology at Purdue University. Professor Rawles has won variousstudent- and faculty-selected teaching awards for his performancein the classroom and for his work in developing and deliveringcourses in local area networking, systems administration,enterprise network management, and enterprise network design.
Professor Rawles is also the author of Local AreaNetworks: A Business-Oriented Approach; 2nd ed. (2002) andClient/Server Information Systems: A Business-OrientedApproach. Professor Rawles has active research and consultingpractices.
James E. Goldman
James E. Goldman is professor of Computer Information Systemsand Associate Department Head for Telecommunications and Networkingin the Nationally Prominent Department of Computer Technology atPurdue University. An award-winning teacher, in 1999 Professor Goldman was named as a University Faulty Scholar atPurdue.
Professor Goldman is also the author of Local Area Networks:A Business-Oriented Approach; 2nd ed. (2000) and Client/ServerInformation Systems: A Business-Oriented Approach. ProfessorGoldman maintains an active consulting practice.
