Tom Zirpoli holds the Laurence J. Adams Endowed Chair in Special Education at McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland. He completed his Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Virginia and his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Old Dominion University. Dr. Zirpoli has taught behavior management and classroom management at McDaniel College; the Univeristy of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minessota; and the Univeristy of Virginia. He has written books and journal articles on basic behavior management, classroom management, and parenting. He has conducted hundreds of professional development trainings for teachers, K-12, on classroom management, as well as parenting workshops across the nation.
