This project is a survey on the problems of heat stress in hot industries in Johor (Antara Steel Mill). The factors being taken into consideration were environmental and individuals parameters. Two methods used were questionnaires and mensuration methods. WBGT-Heat Stress Monitor Type 1219 was used in latter method. Results obtained form the studies were analysed to determine effects and levels of heat stress. Specific location which produce heat stress effects were also determined. The findings might be used to solved problems of heat stress and create awareness among local professionals of effects of high level of heat at the working environment. This study would be vey beneficial to the management particularly those carried aut activities or supervising workers in hot environment. The results of this study revealed that in hot working environment, the heat stress problem was existed and the level aof heat stress was quite severe.
