The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission recognises the importance of engaging consumers in the movement to promote greater quality and efficiency in the healthcare system. In this project, MedPAC contracted with Mathematica Policy Research, Inc. (MPR) to explore what can be learned from other public health campaigns in other arenas about strategies for engaging consumers and influencing their behaviour.
