Negeri Sembilan is divided into 2 regions that is more developed region Negeri Sembilan Barat and less developed Negeri Sembilan Timur. Regional imbalances betweeen both regions can be seen by various indicators such as GDP, population, infrastructures and others. This imbalance started when the British came to Negeri to exploit its resources. In order to reduce this imbalance, industrial sector has to be disporsed to the industries are situated around Seremban. The industrial devvelopment in Negeri Sembilan Timur has some major problems such as lack of labour, infrastructures, social services, ncentives, resource for industrial development are not fully exploit and bumiputra participation which is very low. To overvome these problems, strategies, policies and proposals are formulated. Some of these are to set industries which are agro-based and non-based setting up an industrial organisation, to give training to the workers and to upgrade the infrastructure and sosial amenities in Negeri Sembilan Timur.
