Its strength lies in its ability to guide readers to the specific online medical resources they may be seeking. The authors, one a medical doctor and journalist and the other a freelance medical writer, provide readers with descriptions and an understanding of specific medical and medical-related online databases, bulletin boards, discussion groups, and Internet resources covering a range of subjects from cancer to neurologic disorders to alternative medicine.
