Abstract:
The objective of this proejct is todesign and fabricates model radio-control glider powered by small engine. Therefore, this project needs a specific desogn methodology in order to determine general design glider characteristics. Tis is to ensure that the glider can reach a stable glight condition. The design process includes parametric study, aerodynamic study, stability and control analysis (using a program written in mathCad) and detail design. Three development ptotypes were built and tested. The glider tests verify some of the analytical predictions.
