MC68000 simulator is a software designed for debugging software written in MC68000 assembly language. This simulator will assist those MC68000 designersto simulate their software on personal computer. Hence the designers may be able to separate the problems into software and hardware part in design development. If the designer had confirmed the program written in MC68000 assembly language is correct through the simulation, then he will have confident that the software should not given any problems in the following design stages. Furthermore, the MC68000 simulator designed in this project (called 68KTUTOR) is also capable of helping those who wish to learn MC68000 instructionsand its addressing structure. With the MC68000 simulator, I wish all the students who will attend the MC68000 microprocessor course, especially those from electrical faculty will find it useful.
