Bausbacher and Hunt present more than 640 drawings that show the layout and proper arrangement of process plant equipment, primarily applicable to the chemical and petrochemical industry. The authors have drawn on a collective 70 years of personal experience in this field, about which they must be considered experts. The book is qualitative, in that the principles stressed are common sense, logic, and experience rather than scientific principles and engineering calculations.
