Quality is now regarded as the principal means of survival. Quality is no longer simply product-related but now relates to the entire organisation whether it be product or service based. Many companies have adopted a variety of strategies to meet this challenge. Quality assurance system is a plan, method, procedure or arrangement which requires the total integration and control of all elements within a particular area of operation. The objective of this thesis is study the quality assurance system and apply the theories to Sawitronic Industries Sdn. Bhd. which produces car alarm and jack plug motorbike alarm. Analysis is done on the existing system and later a proposal quality assurance system based on four selected are quality system principle (standard operating procedures, quality manual), production verification, nonconformity, quality documentation and records. This proposal gives a basic guidance to the quality system for quality management purposes.
