A linear state space model for a drum boiler turbine unit is given. The model is based on a medium sized model developed by Eklund. This model is changed to describe drum level dynamics better. The model has 5 inputs, 7 outputs and 10 state variables.. The model was developed for the purpose of design and evaluation of multivariable control schemes. it has been compared with measurements from plant data.
