It has been reported that hypalon is vulcanizable by epoxy resin.Accordingly, the blend of hypalon epoxidized natural rubber (ENR) was studied to examine the vulcanizing ability of one rubber by the functional group of another rubber. In the present article we report the results of our studies on a hypalon-ENR blend. Since no curative was used, we designatesuch a system as a "self-vulcanizable rubber blend."
